Breaker New Waves – Season 3
The Breaker is an action manga series written by Jeong Seung-Heon and illustrated by Youn In-wan. It was released in the year 2007 where it follows the main protagonist, Kwon Taekwondo, who uses his fists as weapons to protect himself from various gangs. He does all this for the sake of his love interest Han Jee-and so he can safely return back to her. The manga finally concluded in March 2014 with a total of 349 chapters released over the period of 4 years.
In 2013, a Korean manhwa company named Udon Entertainment licensed the manga for English release under their “Udon” brand label which also has several other localized Japanese comics. The company released the first English volume on November 15, 2013, with the next 2 volumes to follow soon after.
The Breaker New Waves – Season 3 (known in Japan as Break NEW WORLD) is a manga adaptation of the breaker manhwa series by Jeong Eung-heon and Youn In-wan. As the second season progressed, the story started to stray away from the original work and eventually transformed into its own unique story which is set in a different timeline and universe.
