Printing paper types
There are different types of printing paper used in colorful wholesale printing. The list is as follows:
- Inkjet printer paper
As the name suggests, this paper is explicitly used for inkjet printers. The inkjet printing paper can be used to develop photos, business cards, greeting cards, and any other glossy prints.
- Laser printer paper
The laser printer paper is suitable for office documents that do not require any gloss or glow. Documents such as cheques, mailing labels, and office contracts can be printed using the laser printer paper.
- Matte
Matte is the most commonly used paper type in colorful wholesale printing. It is used for everyday printing tasks such as assignment printouts. Matte is also cheaper than other types of paper. The matte is coated with white material. This material lets the ink dry faster, and thus matte paper is usually used in situations that demand an urgent print.
- Bright white
Bright white papers have a very smooth feel to them as they are non textured paper. This smoothness makes them apt for double-sided printing purposes. The name of the paper type is derived from its shiny surface. The bright shiny surface is why the print on either side of this paper type is not visible to the other side.
- Glossy
Glossy paper types are used for photographs. Glossy paper types produce the colors accurately, and the images are also quite sharp on this paper. There is a minimum possibility of pixelation on this paper type. As the paper preserves the sharpness of the pictures, the printed material is quite high in clarity.
- Card stock
This paper type is used to produce business cards and postcards. The paper type is solid and sturdy. The paper is also used in scrapbooks due to its durability. Its high durability makes it resistant to tattering.
- Resume
The resume paper is usually heavier than the normal printing paper. It has an off white hue and is used for the documents that have high importance. The creamy tone and the ivory appearance of the paper make it ideal for such purposes.
Paper sizes
